Hearthstone School in Sperryville was their destination where they had a lovely musical program prepared for them, along with escorts, flowers, sparkling cider, and yummy treats. They all had a fine time.
The sun did shine on Saturday for this year’s Annual Relay-for-Life which took place at the elementary school this past weekend.
The walkers greeted the sum and nice cool weather with so much enthusiasm.
The Relay for life is the annual fund raising event of the Rappahannock County unit of the American Cancer Society. It is an opportunity both to pay tribute to loved ones and friends who have struggled with cancer and to help fight a disease that claims so many fives.
