Back you go, bass
On a recent Sunday, 9-year-old Harper Van Ness was but fishing in Gid Brown Hollow. Much to her surprise, she caught a really big fish. Harper doesn’t fish regularly, mostly when their neighbor and friend David Pullen comes over with his 2-year-old daughter, Autumn, and untangles all the girls lines. Harper is in the fourth grade at Wakefield Country Day School. What did Harper do with that big fish? She threw it back in so that she could either catch it again herself or give her sister Lucy a chance.
