Wakefield Country Day School held a sports banquet last Friday to honor and award their Winter and Spring Athletes from the past school year.
All the athletes received recognition for their sports participation throughout the year. Six individual awards were given in each sport; Girls and Boys Varsity and Middle School Basketball, Girls Middle School and Varsity Soccer, Varsity Dance, and Varsity Boys Tennis.
The six Individual Awards honored Fraser MacPherson for Varsity Boys Tennis, Caitlin Hammelman for Varsity Girls Basketball, Patrick Dale for Varsity Boys Basketball, Katie Huang for Middle School Girls Soccer and Carla Williams for Middle School Girls Basketball, all as the Most Valuable Players for their teams.
Coach Awards were given to Mary Davis in Varsity Dance, Chantel Paul in Varsity
