the Senate Agriculture Committee focused on the importance of wineries in Virginia to maintain our rural, agricultural areas. With over 100 wineries in the state of Virginia, the industry has gone beyond blossoming to a state of thriving and providing huge economic benefits to the Commonwealth. He also emphasized the role that wineries play in agri-tourism and how Gray Ghost has played such a major role in Rappahannock County. Senator Obenshain said, “A1 and Cheryl are producing some of the finest wines anywhere in the United States, frankly anywhere in the world.”
