Remembrance Service
A remembrance service with the Little Fork Rangers and the Culpeper Minute Men will be held Sunday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Little Fork Church. Period prayers will be said and some authentic letters will be read. The cavalry will present an exhibition of how horses were used in the war between the states. All will be dressed in period costumes and uniforms. Any questions please call Harriett Ellison at 547-2022.
Women’s Day Service
The Promise Land Baptist Church, Washington, Virginia will be having their 17th Annual Women’s Day Service on Sunday, May 28, at 3 p. m. The Praise Team and Youth choir of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, VA will be their guests along with their Pastor Rev. John Heddleston. Lunch will be served following the Morning Worship services. Everyone is welcome .
Homecoming Services
Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church will have their homecoming service on Sunday, May 28. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. followed by the worship service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kirby Shenk. Lunch will be served at noon, following by the afternoon service with Billy Granstaff from Luray.
