Jennifer Leigh Torneden and Scott Norris Nadel, M.D. of Ridgefield, Connecticut married on April 8 in New York City. Kurt Johnson, Ph D. officiated at the double ring ceremony. The handhammered rings were made by Christopher Goodine of Washington, Virginia.
The couple met on a flight from Bermuda, when Jennifer discovered Scott in her assigned seat. The mistake started their romance.
The bride is employed as a financial executive with Zurich Financial Services of Switzerland. She attended Wakefield School and Rappahannock County High School. She obtained her B.S. in finance from George Mason University. Presently, she is enrolled in the Executive Graduate Business ■ Program at Columbia University in New York City.
