It was a beautiful day Saturday May, 20.
The U12 Rappahannock girl’s soccer teams faced off against 2 Culpeper teams here at home.
The Blue Bombers were up first and it was a tough game.
The older and more experienced Culpeper team was able to dominate but not without the Rapp team playing their hearts out.
Defenders Allison Stuart and Lauren Light played well.
Shelby Burnett and Marie Lee were goalies and stopped numerous shots on goal but too many came at them and the Blue Bomber lost 0-4.
Next up were the Sour Apples.
It was an exciting game with some real hard playing on both sides.
