Piedmont Technical Education Center is a goldmine of job opportunities. It offers students from Rappahannock Coutyty a magic key to open the doors to the world of work.
“Everything here is geared to getting a job,’* explained principal John Bodine during a tour of the complex on Monday arranged as part of Vocational Education Week.
The school has hit high gear in its goal of preparing students for jobs. According to Bodine, placement of young men and women who graduate from Piedmont’s two-year training programs runs from 70 to 100 per cent, depending on the course.
