Students in building trades develop skills in masonry, carpentry, plumbing and electrical wiring during the first year studies conducted in training labs. After they've mastered the basics, they work on the Piedmont Foundation's project, a student-built home.
The Foundation is composed of local realtors. Piedmont administrators and teachers assigned to the classes involved in the house construction.
