The ordinance submitted by Baumgardner calls for fees of:
—one cent per square foot for all floor area, including basement and roof, plus $5 for each electrical, plumbing or mechanical installation for new residential construction,
—one and one-half cents for floor area in new commercial buildings plus $5 for each electrical, plumbing or mechanical installation,
—S10 plus $1 for each $1,000, or fraction thereof, above $5,000 of estimated or contract cost for alterations or repairs that do not include enlargement,
—$10 for placement of mobile homes,
—$10 for demolision permits.
Fees for enlargement or additions and fees to move a building to a new location will be charged at the same rate as for new construction under the proposed ordinance.
