Lue A. Walters, District Conservationist. USDA Soil Conservation Service, has recently assumed the leadership of the Soil Conservation Service program in Culpeper and Rappahanock Counties. Walters succeeds Bill Adams who recently was promoted to a similar position in Fairfax County.
Walters will be assisting the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District carryout of local conservation programs. The SCS program provides assistance to land users carrying out soil and water conservation practices.
