Dangers associated with nuclear power will be highlighted in a free public program set for Wednesday, February 20. at 8 p.m. in the Washington Community Center. ^
Sponsored by the Piedmont Alliance for Safe Energy, the program will feature a documentary produced by the NBC television network on current and future problems created by disposal of radioactive wastes.
In addition. Dr. Donal Day, assistant professor of physics at the University of Virginia, will give a brief talk outlining issues of nuclear power and alternative energy sources.
A question and answer period will follow the film.
