Shocked!
To the editor:
While attending a home basketball game at Rappahannock County High School, 1 was shocked at the poor maintenance at the school. j
The sidewalks in front of the school were in a very icy, hazardous condition, since no one bothered to clear them prior to a home game.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, a pig sty was cleaner than the bathroom.
Instead of money allocated from the school budget to buy so many plants, and to allow a candy machine in the hall, perhaps the school officials should channel their monies to provide for a more competent janitorial department.
What excuse could possibly be given for this, other than an apathetic concern on the part of the school officials and complete incompetency in the custodian services?
