The Rappahannock 4-H Horse and Pony Club will hold its second clinic of the summer on Monday, August 10, through Wednesday the 12th, at Margo Corddry’s Copperfield in Hume.
Each day will feature a concentrated riding session in the morning followed by a lecture demonstration. The afternoon riding time will be devoted to jumping and games.
The theme of the three days will centef on .preparation for showing and will include instruction in dressage, equitation and jumping with lectures on trailering, the theory of dressage and the fine points of presenting your horse.
The clinic will be followed by a small show on Thursday, the 13th. open only to 4-H members and Copperfield students. It is not necessary, however, to be a 4-H member in order to attend the clinic and. as always, one may come to one, two ar all three days.
