Washington, D.C. was supposed to come out to view Pillar’s collection but failed to materialize, according to Tom. He added, however, that he'd received a pamphlet showing the Smithsonian’s arrowhead display. “There was nothing in there that I didn’t have,” he noted.

In addition to the standard slate colored variety Pillar has shining crystal arrowheads that look more like jewelry than weapons. He reported finding a cache of five where a new water line was put in on the property.
