The Wakefield School board of trustees has announced this week its affiliation with the Rappahannock Players. Inc., who will perform Harvey, their first play of the season, on the Wakefield School stage in Huntly.
“The Country Playhouse” at Wakefield will be for a time the new home of the Rappahannock Players since they have been obliged to move their center of operations from Mountain Magic Cinema in Washington.
According to Robert Mahlbacher, managing director for the Rappahannock Players, a new location was desirable because the Magic Mountain Cinema had serious stage limitations.
