Under Virginia s new redistricting plan, voters will choose on November 3 between Republican incumbent R. “Andy” Quest and Democratic challenger Richard Catron for delegate to the General Assembly from the 18th legislative district of Rappahannock, Warren, Clarke and Page counties.

Both candidates are new to Rappahannock County.

Guest is a five-term Richmond veteran but prior to redistricting, represented Warren, Clarke, Frederick, Fauquier and the city of Winchester. The Warren County farmer and businessman is a graduate of Yale University and holds an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps Reserves.

Currently, Guest serves as chairman of the board of trustees of Warren Memorial Hospital, on the board of directors of Peoples Bank of Front Royal and as a member of various civic organizations.
