The Sperryville sewer, listed as the 5th priority project in the state, has been tentatively allocated SI.4 million for construction in FY 1983. Dennis noted that the time frame is contingent upon federal funding being available for sewer projects in the current fiscal year. If no funds are released in FY 1982, Sperryville’s sewage treatment plant will be pushed back to 1984 for construction funding.

Dennis suggested that one or more WSA members attend the December 8 hearing with project engineers and a representative from the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors, if possible. *'We need to protect our turf,” he concluded.
