Series Opens It all began back in 1921, with an almost forgotten allblack musical entitled “Shuffle Along”. A success in its own right, this musical and its hit song, “I'm Just Wild About Harry", marked the beginning of musicals featuring all-black casts. “From Harlem to Broadway: The Black Musical" will be presented on Monday, October 26, at 8:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Auditorium of Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music.
