At the Washington Town Council meeting, Oct. 14, Mayor Newbill Miller informed the Council that the pipe hooking the new town well up to the Washington water supply was in place and that the pump had been replaced with a new one.
“All that remains,” he said, “is to flush the lines, run chlorine in and let it stay for a while and then clean the lines out again.”
