Harrison
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Viola Harrison of Washington were conducted Saturday at the GeestJohnson Funeral Home by the Rev. John K. Burke Jr. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison, 96, widow of James Hillary Harrison, died Wednesday, October 14, 1981, at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was a native of Burke, Fairfax County, and a Methodist.
She is survived by six sons, Clarence Harrison of Annandale, Robert L. Harrison of Arlington, Milton Harrison of Washington, Joseph Harrison of Dearborn, Mich., John T. Harrison of Viewtown and Virgil C. Harrison of Woodbridge; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Wright and Mrs. Beulah Wolf, both of Falls Church, Mrs. Sadie Montville of Lake Park, Fla., and Miss Ada Harrison of Washington; 17 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Woodward
Funeral services for Jackson Egbert Woodward, 83, of Amissville were conducted Wednesday at the Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph S. Stirman Jr. Burial was in the Amissville Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Woodward died Sunday, October 18, 1981 at his home. He was the son of the late John T. and Emma Hawkins Woodward and a native of Rappahannock County. He was a member of the Amissville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Estes Woodward of Amissville; two sons, Rudolph Woodward of Clayton, N. C., and Douglas Woodward of Bowie, Md., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
