Jenkins
Funeral services for Jerry Alfred Jenkins of Fort Meade, Md., were conducted Thursday, October 15, at Precious Blood Catholic Church by the Rev. Jerry Gordon. Burial was in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Spec. 5 Jenkins, on active duty with the 7&th Engineer Battalion (Heavy Combat Division) at Ft. Meade, died Saturday, October 10, 1981, at Walter Reed Army Hospital. He was 23. He was the son of Myrtle Osborne Jenkins Baber of Culpeper and the late George Alfred Jenkins.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Regina Ann Jenkins; one daughter, Sherry Marie, both of Fort Meade; a brother, Roger Lee Jenkins of Culpeper, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins of Boston.
Atkins
Edward Amos Atkins, 86, of Linden died Saturday, October 17, 1981 in the Elder Care Nursing Home at Charlottesville.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. William Burrough. Burial was in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester.
Mr. Atkins was born May 15, 1895, in Rappahannock County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Basil G. Atkins. His wife, Oma Brock Atkins, predeceased him.
Surviving are a son, Harry Atkins of Linden; four daughters, Margaret Atkins, Bertha Atkins and Genevieve Atkins, all of Linden, and Oma Wyant of Quinque; a brother, Ellis Atkins of Linden, and a grandson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Inez Jenkins, 72, of Slate Mills were condp^ted SuMay at Slate Mills Baptist"' Chtrch by the Rev. Harold Eaton and the Rev. Judson Baldwin. Burial was in Etlan Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins died Thursday, October 15, 1981, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church. A lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Carrie Frazier Jenkins.
Survivors include her husband, Conner Jenkins of Slate Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Racer of Slate Mills and Mrs. Roy Atkins of Sperryville; four sons, George and Frank Jenkins, both of Fairfax, Nelson Jenkins of Luray and Richard Jenkins of Slate Mills; a brother, Milton Sisk of Culpeper; 10 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
