Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley were in Charlottesville Friday to visit Mrs. Paul Newton, a patient in Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Landy Doub returned to his home Thursday after spending two weeks in Berkley, Calif, with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Friend, Elizabeth and Molly.
Mrs. James Smith returned to her home in Chevy Chase today after spending two weeks with her mother, Mrs. T. W. Latham.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Davis returned to their home yesterday after a two week tour of the New England states.
Charles Walter of Garksville, Md. was a recent caller of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Emerson of Annandale were Friday visitors of the Doyles.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Ankers of Martinsburg, W. Va. Callers last Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar LaPlanche of Glen Burnie, Md.
Landra Silvey spent Monday in Richmond where she visited Gina Richardson.
Recent Sunday dinner guests of L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis were Dr. and Mrs. Homer Luttrell and Richard Luttrell of Pulaski and Mrs. Thelma Russell of Warrenton. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Mrs. Russell visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Dennis and Bill in Luray. This past Sunday the Dennis’ and Mr. Luttrell visited Marie Luttrell of Winchester who is a patient in the hospital there.
Mrs. Warren Settle is a surgical patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and their nephew, Marc Streagle, have returned home after spending a week in Kentucky where they attended horse sales and visited breeding farms.

A bake sale will be he» Saturday, October 31, beginning at noon at the home of Mrs. Margaret Summers near Washington. All proceeds will benefit the Queens Rally of the First Baptist Church, Washington.
