Writing Award
An offer from nationally syndicated columnist James J. Kilpatrick of an annual $500 writing a,ward was accepted unanimously by the board. The award is to be presented to the Rappahannock County High School graduate who has demonstrated the greatest talent for writing in his or her senior year. The high school faculty will forward suggestions to Kilpatrick on how the winner is to be selected.
