The RappahannockRapidan Planning District Commission will meet on Thursday, October 22, at 4 p.m. in the board of supervisors room, Culpeper County court house.
The agenda includes reports on the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation’s statewide transportation plan, highway financing, JLARC study and Virginia Community and Economic Development Block Grants as well as an update on activities of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Emergency Services Council.
Contra Dance
A contra dance will be held Saturday, October 24, beginning at 8 p.m., at the Washington Communi'ty Center. Music will be provided by The Stable Band. Dances will be called and taught by Kathryn Treanor. For more information call 937-4205.
Miller Visits
Republican candidate for Lt. Governor Nathan Miller will be in Rappahannock County on the morning of Saturday, October 24. Miller plans to visit businesses in the Washington-Sperryville area.
