Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were Friday overnight guests of the latter’s brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Gaude Brooks at Mechanicsville. Mrs. Browning attended an Alumni meeting for graduates of Johnston-Willis Nursing School at which time the 25 and 50 year graduates were honored. Mrs. Browning was among the fifty year honorees. John B. Browning of Charlottesville spent the weekend at the home of his parents, during their absence.
Mrs. Reid Payne and Sheila Estes were Sunday morning callers of Mrs. Edith Williams in Front Royal and her houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilhite Jr. and Howard Fritts of Annandale.
