Resigns
To the editor: Effective June 1, 1982, 1 have asked the Area Agency on Aging to reclassify me from site coordinator, a paid position I've held for 5Vi years, to unpaid volunteer. The relocation of the nutrition site to Trinity Church and the outpouring of help from more loca! people have made it possible for me to do what I have been considering since my husband retired and that i: to spend winters out of the county.
But I’m going to be very visible at the nutrition site during the rest of the year, will continue my weekly grocery service and I plan oi being available to assist witl picnics and other activities From now on. I’ll be doinj just what I like to do.
As I’ve stated before, m work at the senior citizei nutrition site has been hecti at times but nowhere wil anyone feel more loved an< appreciated than I have ii my years with this specia group of people.
Over the years, my job ha brought me into contact wit other social workers ani elected officials in the county I have received cooperatio from all of them. I leave th job as site coordinator wit many friends and fe' enemies—or none, I hope.
