Nathan visited Mattie Ball Fletcher last week for a background interview for the article and took tea with the grand old lady on a side porch draped with wisteria. Mrs. Fletcher’s recipe for candied grapefruit rind, already famous countywide, will soon gain national noteriety. This local delicacy was served with dessert at Les Dames' dinner and will be printed in the Post's July 4th color spread on The Inn.
