Rappahannock’s own Elisabeth and “Ned” Johnson have written an engaging book. The authors say that it is a history of Rappahannock County, Virginia, with a few lively stories thrown in and so it is. But their book is much more than that; it is really a love story. Certainly, between the lines, the reader can sense the unfolding of their long love affair with this people and this land.
