Hawthorne District have signed the petition for Mr. Cannon.
We have tried, in our petitioning, to limit our signers to registered voters who live in the district. The opposition has not tried to limit its list to registered voters or to residents of the district.
The Board of Supervisors has an obligation when making the appointment to consider w hat the voters, who elect them, really want and what will ultimately benefit our children. 1 hope they will name Jimmy Cannon.
