Homecoming And Revival

At Mt. Salem Baptist Homecoming will be celebrated at Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington on Sunday, October 2. A covered dish dinner will follow Sunday School and morning worship service. Guest speaker for the 2 p.m. afternoon service will be the Rev. Everett Powell, pastor at Shenandoah Farms Baptist Church. Revival services will begin Monday evening, October 3 at 7:30 and continue through Friday, October 7. The Rev. Jim Cunningham, pastor of Najemoy Baptist Church near LaPlata, Md. will be the evangelist. There will be special singing at each service. Pastor Jimmy Burke and the congregation invites everyone to attend.
