It has been suggested that it is in our economic interest, here in Rappahannock County to keep it unspoiled. Those of us to whom the unmarred beauty of our land has been such an important, attraction, should defend those natural charms against encroachment. In this instance, the county’s loveliest small mountian has a new attacker.
If you have not seen pictures of this adversary, I suggest you find some and examine them. This aggressor is 250 feet tall: it is a metal structure “decorated" by a large saucer-like ornaments; topped by two flashing red rotating lights to make it as conspicuous by night as does thessun’s reflection on the metal by day.
