Boosters Discuss
Computer Purchase
The Booster Club will meet Monday. September 19 at 7:80 at the high school.' C.uest speaker will be assistant superintendent Tom Campbell. The group will also discuss plans for fund raisers to buy a computer for the school. All concerned citizens and interested parents are invited.
Crabs And Dancing
Moose Lodge #489 and the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will jointly sponsor a crab feast and dance at the Washington Fire Hall on Saturday, September 17.
Crabs will be served at $10 for all-you-can-eat from 4 to 8 p.m. Children under 12 are free and the $10 charge entitles diners to stay on for the dancing to music provided by Country Round-Up from 8 until mid night. Admission to the dance only will be $10 per couple.
Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available at a nominal fee. Beer and soft drinks will also be sold.
Circus Coming
The Roberts Brothers Circus will visit Rappahannock County this Friday night, September 10, courtesy of the Amissville Ruritan Club. There will be two big shows on the Amissville fire house grounds at 0 and 8 p.m.
Advance tickets at $2.50 for children and $8.50 for adults are available from Ruritan Club members. Tickets at the gate will be 50 cents more.
