Ruth Kilby will be at the Castleton fire hall tomorrow to register folks to vote. If you’re not registered yet, get over there! All you need to tell her is your social security number.
Ruth hopes to have 3,000 registered voters in Rappahannock County ready for the November 8th election. She says only half the people eligible to vote are registered. You know who the candidates are. You can’t help your favorites if you’re not registered.
Rain. That’s something else that would help. It may have been oil lamp and flashlight time in Castleton Monday night, but as Judy Hitt said, “We need more rain and less lightning.”
It was beautiful weather Saturday for the church picnic at Stevens City. Lillian Frazier says she and Waverlv took their little granddaughter Shannon Tharpe along. Ellen Horton from Culpeper joined them for Sunday dinner. Shannon’s baby sister Tonya stayed over on Saturday night. (And we spelled her name wrong before and apologize because your name is the only thing that really belongs to you. Seeing it misspelled is worse than finding a dent in your fender.)
