On August 28, the Dennis family held their 24th reunion, which took place at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria with over one hundred family members and friends in attendance. They came from Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia. The Rev. W. B. Dennis was the oldest member there and Megan Dennis, age eight months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dennis of Alexandria was the youngest member present.
Additional news is that the Rev. VV. B. Dennis celebrated his 95th birthday on Wednesday, September 14. He makes his home with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dennis, who live on Route 640, just off of Route 729 and their telephone number is 967-5857.
