Davis had a letter signed by neighbors saying they had no objection to his plans. In a postscript, they added, “Mr. & Mrs. Davis maintain their property beautifully.”
BZA Chairman Lee Bird said the inspection convinced the board that Davis owns what he called a “peculiar shaped lot” on Rush River and that a strict application of the zoning ordinance” would unreasonably restrict the use of his land. ”
Due to the topography, lot size and shape and undue hardship Davis might otherwise suffer, the board unanimously approved his request.
