School superintendent Robert Estabrook has been appointed to serve on the board of Lord Fairfax Community College.
Estabrook was appointed as the Rappahannock representative following an executive session of the board of supervisors on September 7.
Estabrook says he was at his first official session on September 8. He said he’s looking forward to serving on the other side of the administrative coin; being a college administrator gives him a better feel for what the school board goes through locally.
Estabrook replaces Fannon Baumgardner who recommended Estabrook to be his successor.
