Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Lee Swindler.

Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar for several days last week were Mr. Pillar’s cousin, Miss Nell McKendrick and friend. Miss Robena Blair of TenicuikMedlothian, Scotland, also his niece, Mrs. Forrast Guth of Wilmington, Delaware.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Brown, Kelly and Michael and Mrs. Robert W. Brown spent Saturday in East Berlin, Pa.

Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Jr. was hostess to a birthday dinner Friday evening at the Inn at Little Washington in honor of Mrs. Mary Quaintance. Other guests were Miss Mary Miller Wood of Washington, Mrs. T. M. Johnston, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. B. M. | Varner. i

Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer returned home Wednesday after spending a week at Myrtle Beach, S. C.

Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins accompanied Mrs. Mabel McClanahan of Warrenton to the Union Meeting Sunday at Battle Run Primitive Baptist Church near Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne returned home Monday after hosting a tour group to Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

Mrs. B. M. Varner and Fred C. Schaefer visited on Thursday with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Musselman at Elkwood, Mrs. Clara Beard at Remington and Mrs. Hazel Ritchie in Fredericksburg.
