Special Memorial Day services will take place this Monday, May 28 in Woodville and Culpeper. The service in Woodville will be sponsored by the Trinity Church of Washington; the service in Culpeper will be sponsored by the Culpeper VFW.
Reverend Jennings W. Hobson III will be conducting the service in Woodville, which will take place at noon at St. Paul’B Church Cemetery. It’s the second year for the memorial service. “There was a desire (last year) among members of our church to have such a service,” Reverend Hobson said. What the Reverend learned was that many citizens were looking for such a service— nearly half of the 50 or so attendees last year were nonmembers.
