Planning Commission chairman A.Y. Stokes commented that Digges’ sawmill situation was unique—it was the first time a complaint had been made against s local sawmill. Seeing no opposition to the mill other than the letter, which was signed by two people, the Planning Commission recommended carrying over the sawmill item until the new zoning ordinances is in place.
