Yes, we know of a number of elderly people who now live out of the county because there is no suitable facility or alternative available here.
4. What impact will the project have on schools in Rappahannock?
We think it would only have a positive effect by increasing the tax base. We do not believe there would be additional children to educate.
5. If there is a fire or emergency who would be called?
A fire is less likely than in the normal home because of the strict standards that have to be met. If a fire could not be extinguished by the employees with the equipment on hand, a local volunteer fire and rescue squad would be called. These are volunteer companies that we would support. We are coordinating our policy with them now.
