“Sometimes it’s counter productive to try to force an issue like this,” said Dennis. “We might force someone to find that the hookups are positively not included. As long as we think we have a good case, let’s live with that”
Gerhardt estimated the expense of the individual house to septic hookups at between $200 to $300 per residence. He added, “Bob’s right. You have nothing to worry about. You have a paper trail establishing that the whole project is eligible forfonding.”
After voting to open the grant account at the Rappahannock National Bank if it could fulfill the technical requirements — to consolidate the two previous accounts and place them at Farmer’s and Merchants in Flint Hill; and approving payment of the Post Office Box charge, the Rappahannock Water and Sewer Authority adjourned.
