Wakefield’s musical director, Gloria Harris, is applauded for the complexity of the projects she is willing to undertake. Costuming for all three play/operas was excellent, and the sets showed similar attention to detail. Any one of the pieces alone would have been a good choice, and would have provided the opportunity foi even more polishing of the choral selections and some oi the more difficult acting. The evening’s presentations represented much hard work by everyone involved.
A unique aspect ol Wakefield’s Art Show is that it is open to all area public and private schools. The presence of several different teachers’ influences and project ideas added variety to the exhibit. The most striking overall feature was the strong use of color—bold ' primary colors, earth tones ' and pastels were all imagi' natively used in a variety oi ' media.
