orxy memDers ana guests attended the luncheon meeting of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAR held May 8, 1984 at the Malvern Club in Madison County hostessed by Mrs. Joseph Fray, Mrs. James Rumpler and Mrs. Carlyle Crigler.

Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Regent, was in charge of the meeting. Mrs. Howard Jensen of Rappahannock County was introduced as a new member. A fashion show with a luncheon is anticipated for fall of 1984. It was announced that Mrs. Walter King, President General NSDAR, would be in Culpeper in May 1985 for a special event to be staged by the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter DAR.

Mrs. Philip Brewer of Madison reported on the State Convention held in Roanoke in March. The feature speaker for this convention, she said, was Senator John Warner. Ann Oliver of Rappahannock County was recognized as State DAR Good Citizen and fourth runner-up in the Eastern Division. Jane Moncrief of Madison was runner-up DAR Good Citizen in the State.
