Acreage Reports Due: June 1, 1984 is the date for farmers who have planted small grains, intended for harvest, to report their acreages. These crops are wheat, barley, oats and rye. Fanners with crop bases established on their farms, but who have no acreage planted for harvest, should also contact us. They need to file a zero report by June 1 to protect their existing base. Acreage reports are a means of establishing crop bases for the following calendar year. The reports are also a determination of eligibility for program benefits.
Measurement Service: In order to confirm accurate reports, ASCS provides a measurement service at a reasonable cost. This insures compliance in farm programs.
