Mrs. Jessie Harris Cox, 90, of Washington, died Saturday, October 27 at Mt. View Nursing Home in Madison.
Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday at Washington Mkewifc Cemetery by the Rev. Steve Scoggin.
Mrs. Cox was a native of Rappahannock County and the daughter of the late James Taylor and Mary Goodloe Brown Harris. Her husband was the late Benjamin Roberta Cox.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. of Washington, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Auxiliary of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
