Opposition to the school’s request was voiced by Doris Donald who lives in the area where the school is located. Citing an increase in noise and traffic, and the school’s incompatibility with the neighborhood, Donald asked that the board refiise the request.
Chairman Bird replied that the board had visited the school, and had not noticed any traffic or noise problems. “The school is in a good position to expand as they want to,” Bird said.
The board’s next meeting will be on November 21 at 9 a.m. at the courthouse.
