Your Vote Counts Rappahannock’s registrar’s office is one of 136 located throughout the Commonwealth. According to the State Board of Elections, Virginia registrars have gone beyond the call of duty in this presidential-election year. There now are 2,666,468 registered voters in the state, up 15.8 percent from the 1980 presidential election.
