Rappahannock High’s soccer team ended the season on a high note last Saturday: The team earned runners-up honors and brought home four trophies.
The soccer team participated in the St. Ann’s Belfield Invitational Tournament, which took place near Charlottesville. RCHS played twice during the four-team tourney.
The first game, which lauched them into the championship game, was not decided until eight minutes into sudden-death overtime, when Lucky McCoy booted in the only score of the contest, a 1-0 decision. The Panthers had taken a tough Western Albemarle '“'team.
