To the editor
I am writing this week to clarify the front page account of the meeting between Senator Kevin Miller and myself on Oct. 19,1984.
The Senator suggested that the RPAC and the citizens of Rappahannock continue working with our local officials to reach an agreement on this zoning issue. He did not say that he would not introduce a bill for a zoning referendum in Rappahannock County as the Rappahannock Newt article suggests. He did mention that he had not met with Delegate Andy Guest to actually pursue this matter but would by the time the General Assembly convenes. The reason that the RPAC is pursuing the zoning referendum is so that the county officials working with this zoning ordinance will have a very clear picture as to what the people really want. It has become obvious that some of the planning commissioners do not
